The 16th Annual Fines Creek Bluegrass Jam will be held Aug. 9 & 10, 2013 on the spacious lawns behind the Fines Creek Community Center just off I-40 at exit 15, in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The Fines Creek Community Association sponsors the event each year to raise money for its scholarship fund. This two day, family friendly, outdoor music festival features a variety of the best bluegrass bands from North Carolina and east Tennessee. The Blue Grass Jam will be held rain or shine. Large canopy tents provide cover for the audience. Those who plan to attend are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. A limited number of chairs will be available for rent Food and drinks will be sold on the school grounds. This years line up is: Friday, Aug. 9, 5:00 p.m. The Crowe Brothers, Eddie Rose & Highway 40, Whitewater Bluegrass Company, and the Fines Creek Flatfooters, a clogging team of youngsters.
